These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities. Conformance with these guidelines helps make the Web more user-friendly for everyone.

HTML VALIDATED

This site has been built using code compliant with W3C standards for HTML. The site displays correctly in current browsers. Using standards-compliant HTML code means it also will be compatible with future browsers.

RESIZABLE TEXT

Most Web browsers include functionality to allow you to increase or decrease the text in a Web page.

HOW TO RESIZE TEXT IN INTERNET EXPLORER (Version 6 and later)

In your browser menu, select View > Text Size > Your desired text size

Alternatively to zoom the entire Web page, you can select View > Zoom > Your desired zoom options

HOW TO RESIZE TEXT IN SAFARI AND FIREFOX (Version 2.9 and later)

In your browser menu, select View > Zoom > Zoom In or Zoom Out

To resize only the text (rather than the entire Web page), ensure Zoom Text Only is selected before resizing.

To reset, select View > Zoom > Reset

HOW TO RESIZE TEXT IN GOOGLE CHROME (Version 12 and later)

In your browser menu select view > Zoom in or Zoom out

To reset select view > actual size

EDITABLE STYLES

Most Web browsers allow users to set their own styles for the website.

HOW TO EDIT FONT AND COLORS IN FIREFOX (VERSION 2.9 AND LATER)

In your browser menu, select Tools > Options (make sure that you are in the content section) > Fonts and Colours and select the font that you wish to use.

Click on the Advanced button and deselect the Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selection above box.  Click Ok and Ok again to exit the options menu.

HOW TO EDIT FONT AND COLORS IN GOOGLE CHROME (VERSION 12 AND LATER)

On your browser toolbar, click on the chrome menu button top right hand corner.  Select Settings > Show advanced settings. In the Web content section you can select the size you desire and chose a custom font, you can also zoom the whole page in or out.

HOW TO IMPORT YOUR OWN STYLE SHEET IN INTERNET EXPLORER

In your browser menu select Tools > Internet Options > Accessibility

Click on any of the 3 checkboxes to ignore colors, font styles or font sizes

Upload your own style sheet by clicking the Format document using my style sheet checkbox and using the Browse button to select and upload your preferred style sheet.

HOW TO IMPORT YOUR OWN STYLE SHEET IN SAFARI

In your browser menu select Edit > Preferences > Advanced

In the Style sheet drop-down select Other

Browse to select and upload your style sheet.
